I’ve always been obsessed with good food and usually wake up with the thought of what to cook today. So ploughing through hundreds of recipes in books and online, wow there’s some inspired cooks out there, then putting my own twist on them. We all do it right, read something and think but what if I change this or that? My passion is spicy food, you may like milder flavours so tweak away and feel free to share your ideas. Got it, tonight will be meatloaf with wild mushroom sauce. Hungry already…
Anyhow here’s a sailing snippet. I woke up fully intending to have a great workout but we’re anchoring on rope right now (long story, wrong sized gypsy for our new chain) and found we were “pass a cup of coffee” close to another boat.
Luckily have good friends on a nearby boat so quick shout of “help please” and over came Roy and his Popeye power. Together we rapidly pulled in the 40m of rope, 10m of chain and the 25k anchor. Then we repeated this exercise 3 times before the Captain was content, hmmmm!
Phew, workout done. The photo is a bit hazy but I’m the one still in pyjamas!

What a great site Sam, beautiful design and such fun seeing you rocking that kettle thingy. Will be following your blog with eager anticipation – just like an episode of Corrie.

No matter where you are you always make me laugh, love the new site you have created and looking forward to many more interesting tip bits and topics. Maybe start a new blog on “many ways to anchor”, this will be like reading a morning newspaper. Seriously, we look forward to reading your blog and using many of your receipes as we continue to sail. Very bewitching of you Samantha.

Good to see you have a website up and running at last Samantha.
You cook some wonderful food so it will be good to see some of the recipes and also read about you adventures on the high and low seas.
